Diane Leyre participated in her first Cannes Film Festival. But the superb dress worn by Miss France 2022 caused her a lot of trouble.

Launched on Tuesday May 17, the Cannes Film Festival continues to be in full swing. The stars come and go to show themselves on the Croisette. After Carla Bruni or Sharon Stone, yesterday it was the turn of Diane Leyre to reach the Côte d’Azur. Miss France was obviously invited to participate in the 75th edition of the Cannes film festival. A first for the one who won the title of Miss France in December 2021.

Diane Leyre then left Paris on May 26 in the early morning to fly to Nice and thus reach Cannes. The pretty brunette then prepared herself in her hotel for her climb of the stairs the same evening. Miss France 2022 was then sublime on the occasion of her passage on the red carpet for the screening of the feature film Broker (The Good Stars). A South Korean film which also brought together the model Bella Hadid or the actress Marina Foïs.

Cannes 2022: Diane Leyre’s beauty look

On the red carpet of the event, everyone had eyes only for her. And for good reason, Diane Leyre was resplendent. The 24-year-old young woman had chosen to make up her eyes with a soft smoky-eyes. Taupe gray and brown shadows perfectly highlighted her brown eyes. Finally, it was a glittery nude gloss that dressed her lips.

Side hairdressing, Miss France 2022 wore a beautiful low bohemian bun. A cut that allowed to release her hair from her face, but also to highlight her pretty dress. Moreover, for her very first climb of the steps, Diane Leyre encountered some problems in terms of her look.

The dress problems of Miss France 2022 in Cannes

Three hours before climbing the stairs, the beauty queen still did not know what dress she would wear. It was through a “logbook” shared in instastory that Diane Leyre announced “It is 4:12 p.m. (…) and I don’t have a dress”. The reason ? All the outfits she had tried on previously were wrong.

It was then at the last minute that Miss France was invited to a showroom to choose her look. There, she was able to get her hands on a sumptuous powder pink slip dress by Milla Dress, a Ukrainian designer. “With the complicated period that there is, we thought it was really interesting to take this dress. Because it was also a support for Ukraine” explained Diane Leyre on Instagram. An excellent choice that was greatly appreciated!
