here is the trendy color that highlights them

Time passes and we cannot go against it. From the age of 25, for example, our cells decrease their production of collagen, the protein responsible for the youthfulness of the epidermis. Our skin then loses elasticity and tone, and may even begin to show some fine lines. Our hair also changes. With age, our hair turns white. And if a few years ago, this could be a complex for many women, today things are changing.

More and more celebrities refuse to go through the “coloring” box to cover their white hair. Graying hair no longer hides… for our greatest happiness. Why couldn’t we proudly wear our natural hair ? In any case, this is what several stars have dared to do.

THE favorite color trend for white hair of the stars

Demi Moore, Kate Moss, Sharon Stone, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sarah Jessica Parker, the Queen of Spain Letizia Ortiz or Nicole Kidman have proven how white hair can be elegant and chic. “Celebrities (…) pave the way for the acceptance of its first gray hair that blend in with the natural hair color” explained Tom Smith, colorist for Evo Hair, to the magazine UK Glamor.

Celebrities walking the red carpet with white hair are absolutely right. They carry the graying hair wonderfully. And looking a little closer, we can see that several of them have worked their lengths so as to perfectly highlight their white or gray hair. This coloring technique bears the name of Herringbone Highlights (understand “herringbone sweep” in French).

Herringbone balayage, what is it exactly?

Herringbone balayage is an ideal coloring technique for bring harmony between the first strands of gray hair and the rest of the hair. It is not a question of camouflaging the white hair, but rather of creating over it like a herringbone pattern using a sweep, so as to highlight them. “Various shades weave through the graying locks, resulting in a finely balanced blend warm and cold tones. It reveals the beauty of gray hair (…) creating like a highlight additional” detailed Tom Smith.

If you choose to go to the hairdresser to perform the herringbone sweep trend, you can specify that it does not require alternating each of the shades, but rather dispersing them from irregularly for rendering ultra-natural. “Gray hair tends to arrive irregularly. Some even come together in wicks” he completed. So rather than hiding your gray hair, accept it and highlight it with this trendy color already adopted by the biggest stars on the planet.
